My journey has been built through an experience of deafness lived in different forms and in a wide variety of environments.
I grew up in a hearing world before experiencing profound hearing loss, which led me to learn to communicate differently, to develop French Sign Language and to gradually move between hearing culture and Deaf culture.
This dual experience gave me a very concrete understanding of the gaps that can exist in access to information, communication, and social, professional or cultural life. It also taught me to observe, to adapt and to understand that a Deaf person's autonomy does not mean that their environment is always accessible.
Over the years, I have been called upon to work in very different contexts: customer relations, mediation, support in professional situations, awareness-raising for teams and management, introductions to LSF, interventions in schools and cultural settings, sign-singing (chansigne) projects, activities with hearing professionals, and participation in several artistic projects and events around deafness.
My commitment has also grown within the non-profit world, notably alongside organisations engaged in the representation of Deaf and disabled people, advocacy, the defence of rights, and reflection on public policies related to accessibility and inclusion. These experiences have also allowed me to grow through contact with many players in culture, transmission, employment, accessibility and deafness.
These experiences have allowed me to work at the crossroads of several realities: those of Deaf people, companies, associations, professionals, institutions and environments that wish to better understand how to make their practices more accessible.
Today, my approach is grounded in this field experience: observing a situation, identifying communication barriers, connecting needs and people, then guiding towards simpler, fairer and more sustainable solutions.
It is from this continuity that NOLA ECO CONTINUUM was born.
